46/4D/48 Adapter Plus Product Functions:
This function is used to identify the chip type, chip ID, empty and locked. Supported chip models are T5, PCF7935, PCF7936(hitag2), PCF7941, pcf7942, pcf7943, PCF7946, PCF7952, PCF7953, PCF7938(HITAG3), NXP2951, DST40, DST40+, and some smart keys after 2014. Supported types are ID13, ID33, ID40, ID41, ID42, ID44, ID45, ID46, ID48, ID60, ID61, ID62, ID63, ID64, ID65, ID66, ID67, ID68, ID70, ID8E, and so on.
Connect to PC and edit chips, write special position for chips by using PC software.
This method is used when all key lost, or the key programmer cannot communicate with the car.
a. Read the immobox or the EEPROM in the ECU first. Note: some car's EEPROM stored in ECU, you need buy other tool to read it
b. Then import the data to the PC software. Note: at same time, connect the adapter with the PC, open the corresponding software, import data correctly, the software will display the number and location of keys used in this car, then please select the empty key position, place the chip according to the software tips, press Create button, later you will be prompted to save the data, this data will be written back to EEPROM and replace the old data
c. Now you can start your car using the created chip. If the software prompts chip generating unsuccessful, please change chip and try again.
This function is used to create special chips. When you do key programming by SKP-900, the system need special chip for some car models, such as Mitsubishi 46 (Duplex communications chips). This function can create special chips using common empty chips. If you want creat TP series chip, please connect the adapter to the PC and create special chips using the chip reading and writing tool.
This function is used to unlock some locked chips so that it can be used again. Also including the initialization function for the copyable chips.
This is the chip copy function. This function is used for decoding the original chip and then copy it. After successful copy, the key can start the car.
Take Toyota 67 chip as example:
a. Place the chip into the coil.
b. Select 4D copy function.
c. Select 1. Decoding: Generally about 30 seconds to decode is successful, longest no more than 4 minutes.
d. Then enter the second step. Remove the original chip, place the copyable 4D chip (for copyable 4D-EH2 chip, please unlock it first), press YES button on the main unit, then the new chip created, which can start the car just like the original one.
